About IQAC

Introduction
In pursuance of the Action Plan of NAAC Bengaluru for performance assessment, evaluation and accreditation and quality upgradation of institutions of higher education, NAAC proposes that every recognized institution should establish IQAC as a quality assurance measure. Keeping this in mind, Shaheed Udham Singh Government College Sunam established IQAC. As we know that quality improvement is a continuous process, it would not be wrong to call IQAC an integral part of the college. It works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in various aspects of the college. However, IQAC is not just a committee, it is a "participatory" and "facilitative" entity that works closely with faculty members to plan the best possible strategies. IQAC makes an important and meaningful contribution to the post-accreditation phase of institutions. During the post-accreditation period, IQAC disseminates an institution's efforts and measures towards academic excellence.
